Many individuals who have experienced a mild to moderate TBI go on to suffer from chronic symptoms which extend far beyond the expected recovery time, often referred to as postconcussion syndrome or persisent postconcussion syndrome/symptoms. Our interdisciplinary team works with individuals who have suffered a TBI and continue to struggle with various cognitive, emotional, physical and sometimes behavioral symptoms. Many individuals with mild TBI have normal routine neuroimaging and are often undertreated by the medical community, misunderstood by friends and family and undercompensated for their injury. We ensure that our patients receive the most effective, comprehensive and cutting-edge care via our coordinated care network and in-house services, including medicolegal and forensic consulting services.
